A National Rally is hosted by a different region each year.  This may be either a one-day or a weekend event, which culminates in a concert by some of the participating teams.

The National Rally for 2012 is being hosted by the North East Region in York on 30 March – 1 April 2012.  The event is being held at the York University as on previous occasions but the University has recently undergone major modernisation work in particular the accommodation blocks in the new 'Student Village'.
